These monster-sized Valentines were created using primarily My Porch Prints botanical/floral and RomanticaArts digital papers. I decorated each one from my personal stash of doilies, vintage lace, charms, vellum, and of course, shabby, crinkled seam binding. My dad’s more masculine Valentine was fashioned from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Paper Stash cardstock (cigar label theme). My favorite feature is the huge “receipt” tags inserted inside each large pocket card. I wrote and printed sweet sentiments and sprinkled them throughout. Included is a “how-to” segment to illustrate my creative process from selecting cardstock to assembling. But as usual, the lovely papers do all the work. I merely cut and pasted.
Before mailing, I tied each Valentine around the waist with frilly seam binding ribbon in various shades of pink. Enjoy!
