I discovered this crossover pocket last week and knew immediately I wanted to create one but in my own aesthetic. Selecting some of my favorite paper, “Dream,” designed by Stamperia, I started playing around with scraps and ephemera. I decided to share this project in a Youtube tutorial that shows my initial diagram, my creative process and the construction of a humble little pocket card.
She’s feminine, sweet and decidedly shabby. Because not everyone embraces or even understands the whole shabby chic, slightly grungy thing, I am keeping her. She will adorn a special shelf in my craft room where she can be seen often and cherished forever.
