This year’s handmade Christmas cards were fashioned using a Shabby Chic File Folder design. (I have an unexplainable obsession with file folders right now, and this project fulfilled that creative longing.) My Porch Prints on Etsy has some wonderful feminine digitals that are perfect for a Shabby Chic card or junk journal. I grabbed my Stamperia Pink Christmas cardstock and ephemera from my stash to stuff the pockets and line the pages with Christmas-themed graphics. I especially loved the wildlife, and of course, the kitties. I added glimmer to the ephemera with silver inked snowflakes, stars, and French expressions and flourishes. I designed 10 cards. Whew! A few of the last ones were petite so I could use up some of my scraps. I think my idea to combine junky file folders with pink Christmas graphics worked out just fine, don’t you?
