WHERE TEAPOTS AND TUNA BREATH LIVE IN HARMONY
Maya and Mittens went to a wonderful foster mom in the Orange Country, California area just south of Los Angeles. We were so thankful that the foster drove to pick them up; quite a journey for her. Once home, Maya immediately got her uncomfortable fur mats combed out. Didn’t make her happy. (See photo) Mittens has gingivitis (possibly stomatitis) but is eating well and had a much-needed bath. I am pretty sure they both feel spoiled.
Mittens, while adjusting to his new quarters and playing with another foster, somehow dislocated a toe. (See x-ray photo) Good grief. And after a thorough examination by a good vet, his stomatitis was confirmed, unfortunately. Next, the vet said Maya needed a dental, too. I sent the foster an extra $300 to help ease the pain of unexpected expenses. I have got to check in on these two soon. Hoping their futures are brightening more each day.
