I designed this journal with my sister Annette in mind. She is often absorbed in a good book–something I try to do on occasion but often fail. (Cable TV seems to capture my attention so easily when I am not in my craft room “making.”) Inspired by some book-lover themed digitals, I created a 3-signature, 9×6 inch journal with an abundance of writing space. There are blank journaling cards and tags, lined pages, tea-dyed paper, and a few foldouts to encourage even the most reticent writer. Sprinkled throughout are quotes from well-known authors or just book-adoring individuals. And, of course, there are several floral, shabby chic, or lace-edged pages adding the right amount of femininity.

I hope my creation inspires you to make a special keepsake for a loved one, too.
